Stone Masonry Tour of Petaluma

Join stonemason Edwin Hamilton and historian Katherine Rinehart for a presentation and tour of stone buildings. The day will begin with a slideshow and discussion of the Sonoma County stone industry and its relationship to historic architecture of Petaluma. The slide presentation will be followed by a walking tour of downtown Petaluma, a National Register Historic District. The tour will focus on the history and various styles and techniques used in stone construction.
