at the Barry Singer Gallery 7 Western Avenue, Petaluma
Wine poured by Doug Nalle of Nalle Winery, Healdsburg

Unlike any art movie you’ve ever seen! ART CITY: A Ruling Passion brings to life the American Contemporary art world as it plunges into the 21st Century. Filmed in New York, Los Angeles, Houston and Las Vegas, with artists Louise Bourgeois, Ed Ruscha, Elizabeth Peyton, Dave Hickey, and others, the film plumbs universal issues that affect artists—and all of us—like community, motivation and controversy, finding one’s audience, and just “getting it right.”

All tickets are $12. Advanced tickets can be purchased at PetalumaArtsCouncil.org or by calling 707-766-5200. Tickets can also be purchased at Boulevard Cinemas in Petaluma. This event is sponsored by the Petaluma Arts Council with the support of Boulevard Cinemas, filmmaker Chris Maybach, the Barry Singer Gallery, and Nalle Winery. All proceeds will be dedicated to the Petaluma Art Center Matching Fund.
